Advanced Seed Saving at The Lisle Library District

April 8, 2015 from 7pm to 8:30pm
Katrina Chipman, horticulturalist from the Morton Arboretum, will be here to explain how to save seeds from our “Advanced” category: cucumbers, flowers (new!), herbs, melons, and squashes. Hand-pollinating, plant isolation, popular tools, and proper harvesting techniques will all be covered. Those who attend a Seed Saving class are encouraged to return saved seeds to share, in the fall.See More
