Cool Beans! Newsletter Issues

Dear Seed-y Folks,I would like to have your input into future editions of our Cool Beans! Seed Libraries Newsletter. I was thinking it would be great to have issues come out every 2 months and have a focus for each edition. That way I could better focus on getting people to contribute content. Here were a few things that popped into my mind this morning, but this was just a first thought and I'd love your ideas:May-June: Seeds Gardens & maybe somethings about the UN Year of the Soil…See More

Hi Rebecca,

I just started volunteering this month.  I will be organizing the AAMLO seed library. Most of the seeds are commercially packaged seeds in the library.  My hope is to provide seed saving/gardening workshops at the library. Is it ok for me to call on you if I have any questions?  I am excited about the possibilities of the AAMLO seed library.

Claudia

My library system was working on setting up a seed library but became concerned when Pennsylvania shut down a seed library near Harrisburg.  Apparently, the library was in violation of the state's seed act.  Has anyone heard of other states leaning this direction?

Thanks Rebecca!  I have tried saving them as the older versions but not all have been successful.  I will check and see which ones I need and get back to you tomorrow.

Thanks Rebecca!  I have looked over the toolkit but we are having problems with viewing as the sofware that we have (Office 2007) is not supporting the word docx version that you use.  We have been able to download some but not all.  Any suggestions?
